About Dragon Domestic Gas Services
We are a family run business based in Emsworth, Hampshire. It was started by myself Huw Owen on 25th July 25. Previous to this I served for 22 years in the British Army, completing tours in theatres such as Northern Ireland, Iraq & Afghanistan whilst also deploying to the Falkland Islands on multiple occasions

Our History
Our History
I decided to move into the Gas Industry still not knowing what I wanted to do after I had left the forces. During my training I realised that a lot of the people in the trade were ex-forces, and a lot of the camaraderie veterans look for outside of the forces was present in the trade. Not only that but it presented itself as a new challenge, moving from a life where you are looked after 24hrs a day to really having to put a lot of thought into the installations you are carrying out to make sure the work is correct, of a high standard and ultimately the finished product works safely.
We at Dragon Domestic Gas Services Ltd bring with us a set of standards that have been forged by military service. With a strong foundation of discipline, precision and integrity we bring military-grade professionalism to every home we serve, whilst also bringing the humour of the military with us

We are a Gas Safe Registered Company who is part of the armed forces covenant, continuing to support those who are still or have served in the British Forces. We are also credited through LCL Awards. We are affiliated with HTAA (Hampshire Training and Assessments), a local family run training centre who we completed our New Entrant Gas training through.
They are highly recommended by us and offer a wide range of courses at very affordable prices, they are also part of the ELCAS system, offering courses to those looking to finish their time with the military and go elsewhere. We provide support for their candidates by bringing them along with us to carry out real world work for their portfolios, all the while supervised by myself to ensure they carry out their work professionally with no problems arising.

As I alluded to earlier, we are a family run business, this comes with its own set of values. My wife Cassie is the director of the business (what a surprise, the boss in more ways than one). We will always endeavour to look after our customers and their families, hopefully making them feel like an extension of ours.
Our prices are transparent and fair, we also have a separate cost system for those who are serving, veterans and OAP’s, this is our way of giving back to those who have and continue to give their all for our way of life. There is a charges & price list page that you can find on this site and a Microsoft form to book your appointments on, which will self-populate onto our system that’s monitored by our admin team.
